August 1, our family and James headed to a remote lake up Swanson River Rd. with just one campsite at it so we had the whole thing to ourselves! The girls and I went swimming and Chad and James cooked. It was a very lovely evening and very refreshing after the busyness of summer.

The water was a little cold so it takes a few trips back and forth to get fully adjusted to the water before plunging in the rest of the way.
