A lot of things have happened in the last 2 months....My sister and her husband came, my cousin came, my parents came, and then they left and took Emma and Madison with them! So for the last 6 weeks as of today we have been without them. That has been a very hard thing for me to deal with, they are growing up, they are having fun, and they are still not quite ready to come home :( LOL We have been camping and had our own adventures just me and the little two, which has been nice for them. It has been quieter here and I am beginning to miss all the comotion that comes with a bigger family. Chad has still been working long hours, getting several big projects started before winter sets in here. Our summer camps are over, but they were very rewarding and the staff volunteers will be missed and the hustle and bustle of summer camp life is missed as well! Chad had wonderful guest helper/SOWER volunteers this summer that were able to accomplish so many small but invalueable tasks that again would be near impossible for James and Chad to finish on their own. We had a Michigan team that came and built another new boys cabin for us, and almost had it completed in 2 weeks. After camp we had another group come and do work projects for us that donated $1000.00 for the siding of the new cabin!! We have raised the money for the foundation of the riding arena at the barn, and so that has been underway as well! This week Chad and James have been working on getting everything ready for the foundation of the new refrigerator/freezer unit at the kitchen, and the list goes on and on!! I will make it my project tomorrow to go and take pictures of all the new things that have been added to camp!
here is one of our adventures....playing around Captain Cook Park.....
