Sunday afternoon we said goodbye to the Yoders and drove the 350 miles back to North Carolina to stay at a resort on the beach in the town of Atlantic Beach. This island was famous for Black Beard staking claims there, as well as involvement in the Civil War. We spent 6 days here, so I am going to split up the posts a little as there is over 400 photos to choose from! Here are a few of the ocean, beach, buildings around us, and the marina's.
